Travis Landon Barker, born November 14, 1975, is an American musician, songwriter, and music producer best known as the drummer for the rock band Blink-182. Beyond Blink-182, he has built an extensive career collaborating with hip-hop artists, serving as a member of the rap rock group Transplants, co-founding the rock band +44, and joining Box Car Racer, Antemasque, and Goldfinger at various points.

He was also a frequent collaborator with the late DJ AM, together forming the duo TRV$DJAM. His influence and visibility earned him recognition from Rolling Stone, which called him “punk’s first superstar drummer” and ranked him among the 100 greatest drummers of all time.

Born in Fontana, California, Barker began drumming at a young age, joining the Aquabats in 1996 before departing to join Blink-182 in 1998, the band that brought him mainstream success with Enema of the State in 1999.

He established a reputation as a versatile drummer, producing and guesting across genres including hip hop, alternative rock, pop, and country, and he also starred in the MTV reality series Meet the Barkers. After surviving a plane crash in 2008, he recovered and released his debut solo album, Give the Drummer Some, in 2011, continuing to work extensively with rappers in the years since.
