Robert J. Ortiz is an American former football wide receiver, born May 30, 1983, who played college football at San Diego State before signing with the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2006.

Over his career he also spent time with the Frankfurt Galaxy, Seattle Seahawks, BC Lions, New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, and Hartford Colonials. With Frankfurt Galaxy in NFL Europa, he appeared in eight games with four starts, finishing as the team’s third-leading receiver with 27 catches for 255 yards and two touchdowns.

Hartford Colonials drafted him in the seventh round of the 2010 UFL draft. Beyond football, Ortiz has worked as a model and actor, and competed on the 2011 season of ABC’s reality competition show Expedition Impossible.
