Miyu Takahashi (高橋 美優, Takahashi Miyu; born 15 May 2002) is a Japanese badminton player who specializes in women’s doubles. A member of the Japanese national team, she plays for the BIPROGY badminton team and has reached a career-high women’s doubles world ranking of No. 22. Partnering with Mizuki Otake, Takahashi won her first BWF World Tour title at the 2024 Vietnam Open, followed by a Super 300 title at the 2025 German Open. In 2026, Takahashi formed a new partnership with Sumire Nakade, winning four World Tour titles at the Orléans Masters, Baoji China Masters, U.S. Open, and the Taipei Open.
Takahashi was born on 15 May 2002 in Inami, Kako District, Hyōgo Prefecture. Raised in a family heavily involved in badminton, she began playing the sport at age four. Her father, Kōji Takahashi, is a teacher and badminton coach at Yashiro High School, while her mother, Mika Takahashi, coaches at the Volano club and HOPE Junior. Her younger sister, Nana Takahashi, also competed professionally for Toyota Motor corporate team before retiring in 2025.
