Millie Bonnie Bongiovi, born Millie Bonnie Brown on 19 February 2004 and known professionally as Millie Bobby Brown, is a British actress and film producer who gained international recognition for playing Eleven in the Netflix science fiction series Stranger Things, which ran from 2016 to 2025 and earned her two Primetime Emmy Award nominations. In 2018, she was included in the Time 100 list of the world’s most influential people, and she became the youngest person ever appointed as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.

Brown expanded into blockbuster filmmaking with roles in Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) and its sequel Godzilla vs. Kong (2021). She has also built a strong presence at Netflix as both star and producer, working on Enola Holmes (2020), Enola Holmes 2 (2022), Damsel (2024), The Electric State (2025), and Enola Holmes 3 (2026).

Brown was born on 19 February 2004 in Marbella, Andalusia, Spain, the third of four children born to British parents Kelly and Robert Brown, an estate agent. She has an older sister, Paige, an older brother, Charlie, and a younger sister, Ava. Her middle name is “Bonnie,” though she adopted “Bobby” as part of her professional stage name. Brown was also born with partial hearing loss in her left ear.
