Mamadou Sangaré

Mamadou Sangaré (born 26 June 2002) is a Malian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Brentford and the Mali national team.

Sangaré joined Red Bull Salzburg in September 2020, signing a contract until 2025, and was assigned to their reserve side, FC Liefering. He was later loaned to Grazer AK for the 2021–22 season.
For the 2022–23 season, Sangaré was loaned to Zulte Waregem in Belgium. On 6 February 2023, Sangaré moved on a new loan to TSV Hartberg.

On 1 July 2024, Rapid Wien signed Sangaré until 2028. Later that year, on 25 September, he scored his first goal for the club in a 3–1 away win over SR Donaufeld in the Austrian Cup.

On 20 August 2025, Sangaré moved to Lens in France with a five-year contract. Later that year, on 8 November, he scored his first goal in a 4–1 away victory over Monaco. In the 2025–26 season, Sangaré was named in the Ligue 1 Team of the Season, won the Prix Marc-Vivien Foé for the league’s best African player, and helped the club finish second in Ligue 1 and win the Coupe de France for the first time in its history.
