Eberechi Oluchi “Ebere” Eze ( ə-BAIR-ə-tchee EZ-ə ; born 29 June 1998) is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Premier League club Arsenal and the England national team.
A product of several English academies, Eze began his senior career in the EFL Championship with Queens Park Rangers in 2016. His breakthrough came in the 2019–20 season, in which he scored 14 goals and was named the club’s Player of the Year. He was subsequently signed by Premier League club Crystal Palace, where he went on to make over 150 appearances, and scored the only goal in the 2025 FA Cup final to win the club’s first ever major trophy. After winning the 2025 FA Community Shield with Palace, he was signed by boyhood club Arsenal for £67.5 million, winning Premier League title and reaching the 2026 UEFA Champions League final in his first season.
A former England youth international, Eze made his senior debut in 2023, and later helped his country to a runner-up finish at UEFA Euro 2024, and a third-placed finish at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
