Christopher Hemsworth (born 11 August 1983) is an Australian actor and film producer. His films as a leading man have grossed over $12.1 billion worldwide, making him one of the highest-grossing film stars of all time. Hemsworth was one of the world’s highest-paid actors annually from 2017 to 2019.
Hemsworth’s breakthrough came as Kim Hyde on the Australian soap opera Home and Away (2004–2007), before making his Hollywood film debut in Star Trek (2009).
